October Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 1

Sukin Sensitive Facial Moisturiser: This pleasantly fragranced moisturiser left my skin feeling supple & hydrated. It worked well as a primer under my makeup & didn't leave my face feeling greasy. The moisturiser is made from natural ingredients & is Paraben free. I would recommend this for all skin types & will repurchase in the future when I finish my second bottle.

Rimmel Max Volume Flash Mascara: I found this mascara to be average. It created a natural look & thickened my lashes a little, but I prefer more length & volume. Will not repurchase.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil: This oil absorbs quickly into my skin, leaving it soft & supple. I usually use this at night & it makes my face feel hydrated in the morning. I prefer this to the one with antioxidants & will definitely repurchase.

Bourjois Flower Perfection Foundation: This is my HG foundation. I only discovered it earlier this year & have been repurchasing ever since! It has great lasting power, however it leaves your skin looking a bit shiny by the afternoon  But nothing a little blotting powder can't fix!

10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Mask: This is one of my favourite masks! See the review I did earlier this year. Will repurchase!

September Project 5 Pan Empties - Part 2

Edward Beale Ultra Gloss Argan Oil: I received this argan oil free in the Priceline Hair Care Bag. It left my hair feeling smooth, smelling nice & looking glossy. A good substitute for Morrocan Oil. Will not purchase though as I prefer Morrocanoil or Redken's All Soft Argan 6.

Nivea Daily Essentials Regenerating Night Cream: A good night cream with a pleasant, but subtle scent which left my skin feeling hydrated. It is packaged in a small jar, but a little goes a long way as it is quite a thick cream. May repurchase when I finish my back up!

September Project 5 Pan Empties - Part 1

Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Mask: An average mask - will not repurchase as fragrance was too strong! See review here: Mask Review.

Formula 10.0.6 No Time To Shine Mud Mask: A great & inexpensive mask. Left skin feeling smooth & refreshed. May repurchase once I have finished my other masks. See review here: Mask Review.

Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express Cat Eyes Mascara: One of my favourite mascaras at the moment is Maybelline Colossal Volum Mascara (link), but I saw the Cat Eyes version & thought I'd give it a go! The only difference I found was the curved brush, which made it easier to apply mascara to my bottom lashes. Would definitely repurchase!

Stay tuned for Part 2, coming soon.

Project 5 Pan - September

I'm a bit late with this post, but better late than never!

This month I only have 5 products to finish as opposed to my usual 10. Here they are:

1. Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Mask
2. Formula 10.0.6 No Time To Shine Mud Mask
3. Edward Beale Ultra Gloss Argan Oil
4. Nivea Daily Essentials Regenerating Night Cream
5. Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express Cat Eyes Mascara

August Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 2

Nivea Light Feel Face Veil: This is my favourite facial sunscreen. It doesn't break me out or irritate my skin & is quickly absorbed. I usually wear this under my foundation, instead of primer. Will definitely repurchase.

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss: I received this as a gift with purchase from Bobbi Brown. I found the lip gloss was really thick & sticky, which didn't really feel nice on my lips. Will not purchase full size.

Becca Eyebrow Powder: This eyebrow powder was pretty average, however lasting power was good. Will not repurchase as can use brown eyeshadow as a substitute.

Johnson's Baby Lotion: I used this lotion as an all over body moisturiser. It was easily absorbed in the skin & very pleasant smelling. May repurchase in the future, once I have finished my other moisturisers.

Stay tuned for my September Project 10 Pan!

Review: Maybelline Dream Pure BB

After hearing all the hype surrounding BB creams, I decided to purchase Maybelline's new Dream Pure BB in the medium shade. This particular BB cream is formulated for oily skin & contains 2% Salicylic Acid which helps clear & prevent pimples & skin blemishes.

According to the bottle it has an 8 in 1 function which is to:

1 Conceal imperfections
2 Helps protect against the appearance of blemishes
3 Oil free, non greasy
4 Minimises the appearance of pores
5 Clarifies the skin's look
6 Conceals redness
7 Hydrates & smoothes
8 Complements skin tone

This BB cream can be worn with or without moisturiser & has a sheer coverage. However, in saying that, coverage is buildable. I found a little goes a long way & using a concealer under it, worked a treat for covering blemishes. It also helped to even my skin tone & left my skin looking natural.

The BB feels quite light on the face & is perfect for days you just want a natural look that foundation just doesn't give you. It does have a slight fragrance, but it is not noticeable once applied. The cream has a SPF of 15, however I would recommend still using sunscreen if going out in the sun.

Overall, I am pleasantly suprised with Maybelline's BB cream & would definitely recommend it. I was a little hesitant after trying Palmer's version, which left my face looking blotchy & didn't match my skin tone, but Maybelline's version exceeded my expectations!

Review: Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Mask

I was on the hunt for a new face mask, when I came across the Montagne Jeunesse range. After reading good reviews about their masks & much deliberation on the one to get, I ended up choosing the Mud Pac Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Mask.

The Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Mask contains dead sea minerals, seaweed & lavender to help relax, calm & soothe. It claims to draw out impurities & open blocked pores. The mask also contains kaolin & bentonite clays. I got the 100g bottle, but I believe this is also available in a 20g sachet.

The mask has a thick consistency & is a pale green colour. It has an extremely strong scent of men's cologne which gave me headaches. I'm not usually sensitive to fragrances, but this one is way too potent for my liking! So if you are sensitive to fragrances, please avoid this one!

Only a small amount is needed for your face & it is recommend to be left on for 10-15 minutes before washing off. The label on the 100g bottle advises that you can get up to 10 uses, but I find you could probably get 15 uses as you do not need to use much.

I found this product did leave my skin feeling fresh & smooth. However, I will not be repurchasing because of the overpowering fragrance.

Have you used this mask? Are there any masks you would recommend from this range with a lighter fragrance?

Review: Maybelline Color Whisper - Mad for Magenta!

This lipstick/lipgloss hybrid is perfect for those days when you feel like wearing minimal makeup, but still want to look fresh faced. 'Mad for Magenta' is best described as a purplish pink with a subtle shimmer. It glides on smoothly & keeps your lips moisturised.

The colour payoff is minimal, almost see through, leaving your lips with a sheer finish. However, the colour is definitely buildable! It has a light fruity scent when first applied, but the scent fades quickly. The Color Whisper feels lighter on your lips than your regular lippy. The texture is similar to that of a lip balm & is neither greasy nor sticky.

The wear time is probably a couple of hours at best so reapplications are necessary, which is probably to be expected considering it's lightweight consistency. Overall, a great product & perfect addition to your make up bag!

What are your thoughts on this product?

August Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 1

A great start to the month with regards to my August 10 Pan. I have worked through 6 of my 10 products & we are not even halfway through the month!

Maybelline Colossal Volum Mascara: One of my HG mascaras! It lengthens & thickens my lashes with no clumps! It also works for my bottom lashes! Perfect as a everyday mascara, but also good for nights out. Will definitely repurchase.

Pureology Smoothing Elixir (Sample): I got this sample from my hairdresser. The elixir smells lovely, but I found it made my hair overly greasy. I will stick to my other hair oils & will not purchase full size.

Revlon Ciara Body Moisturiser: I am a huge fan of  Ciara perfume & cologne, but I was disappointed with this moisturiser. It is labelled as lightly scented, but this was not the case - the scent was overpowering. Those who are sensitive, steer away. I also found it to contain too much shimmer, leaving me looking like a disco ball. Will not repurchase.

Mini Moroccanoil Shampoo & Mini Moroccanoil Conditioner: Both the shampoo & conditioner have a nice scent. I had previously used the full sized products & when halfway through, I purchased the mini travel bottles to take with me on a overseas trip. I have wavy, coloured hair which can be a little dry at times, so I was looking for a product to hydrate my hair. As I worked my way through the full sized bottles I noticed it didn't really do anything special. I found the oil to do a better job though! Will not repurchase as I have found a better shampoo & conditioner suited to my hair.

Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser (Sample): A basic cleanser which is fragrance free & for sensitive skin. It is also dermatologist recommended. The cleanser left my face feeling moisturised & was very gentle on my skin. However, I had to remove my makeup first before using this as when used alone, I found my makeup wouldn't budge.  I will not purchase full size as I prefer a cleanser which removes makeup.

Project 10 Pan - August

My 10 products for August's Project 10 Pan:

1. Johnson's Baby Lotion
2. Mini Moroccanoil Shampoo
3. Mini Moroccanoil Conditioner
4. Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser (Sample)
5. Pureology Smoothing Elixir (Sample)
6. Revlon Ciara Body Moisturiser
7. Maybelline Colossal Mascara
8. Becca Eyebrow Powder
9. Nivea Light Feel Face Veil
10. Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss

July Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 2

L'Oreal Infinium Hair Spray: A good hairspray, which is comparable with L'Oreal Elnett.  It had a strong hold & would keep my hair in tact all night. Would I repurchase? No, as Elnett does the same job & is cheaper!

L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara: I quite like this mascara & found it did do its job of lengthening my lashes. Only downside to this product is the flimsy blush which makes it difficult to put back in the bottle. Good staying power & very natural looking. Would I repurchase? Probably not, when I finish my backup. The flimsy brush puts me off!

Clinique High Impact Lipstick - Rosette: I received this lippy with a Clinique GWP. It is probably best described as a soft reddish pink with subtle shimmer. I found it to be perfect for work & play alike. It is quite moisturising, however the lasting power isn't great. Will not purchase.

Palmers Body Lotion Sample: I'm not a huge fan of Palmers products & this one is no exception. For some reason I don't like the smell & this puts me off their products. Will not purchase full size.

July Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 1

10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Mud Mask: This is my favourite mask from the 10.0.6 range. The mask has a light strawberry scent, which is not too overpowering.  I found the mask to be quite gentle, but effective at the same time. After use, my skin felt smoother & looked brighter than usual. I'd probably recommend this for oily/combination skin as those with dry skin may find this may dry your skin out further. Would I repurchase? Definitely! In fact, I have another one in my beauty cabinet waiting to be used!

Planet Earth Musk & Rosewood Hand Cream: I'm not a huge hand cream lover as I hate the feeling of sticky hands! I recieved this in a gift hamper and thought it would be best used as a body moisturiser. Being a hand cream, the formula was obviously a little thicker than your standard body moisturiser, but I found it to work wonders on my skin, slathering on before bed. By morning, my skin would smell great & feel moisturised. Would not purchase as I have other moisturisers to use up.

Toni & Guy Boost-It Mousse: I recieved this product from my hairdresser when I purchased my GHD many years ago. I found it did not really do anything to my hair, except to leave it in a sticky mess & feeling weighed down. Will not purchase.

L'Oreal Translucide Powder: One of my long time HG products! I use this over my foundation to give a matte look & to control shine. Lasts for hours, although I tend to need to reapply in the afternoon. Will not repurchase for the moment as currently using MAC Blot Powder, but will definitely return to this in time.

Revlon Ciara Concentrated Cologne Spray: Love this cologne! This came with a bigger bottle, which is not as strong in scent as this little purse bottle. I've repurchased this over & over for about 7 years now & still love it. I must warn you, the scent is overly powerful & only a little is needed. Those with sensitive noses - steer clear!

L'Oreal Nude Magique Sample: I recieved this sample in medium shade which I found to be a tad dark for my skin. I tried to like this, but whatever I did, it came out looking like a bad tan job or I over did my foundation! Will definitely not buy full size!

Stay tuned - part 2 of empties, coming soon!

Review: Rimmel Apocalips

I'm a little late on the bandwagon with this, but better late than never..hey?

There were 3 colours in particular that I had my eye on in this range out of 8: Nova, Apocaliptic & Stellar. As I have way too many lip products, I decided to get only one - Apocaliptic. Apocaliptic is probably best described as a hot pink/ fuschia colour. It is highly pigmented & leaves a glossy finish.

I really liked the lid on the lacquer. It's not so clear in the above picture, but it has a chiseled jewel tip. As the lacquer is highly pigmented, there is no need for any other product on the lip except maybe a lip liner under to increase longevity.

I found this product looked lovely on my lips however, it transferred easily onto my glass, so if you are going out to eat or drink, this lacquer is probably best avoided. In general, it lasted a few hours before fading, so top ups may be needed!

All in all, an ok product but unfortunately I will not go rushing out to buy other colours from this range as I expected it to be longer lasting than it actually was. The lacquer also doesn't set & is a little drying as it wears off. A little disappointed as I had high hopes for this product.

What are your thoughts on the apocalips range?

Review: Formula 10.0.6 Mud Mask - Pores Be Pure, No Time To Shine, Deep Down Detox & Keep Your Cool

Pores Be Pure Skin Clarifying Mud Mask: Pores Be Pure claims to be "skin-refining" & "eliminates impurities". The mask contains berry boosters to work on clogged pores as well as strawberry & rosemary to eliminate impurities & yarrow to clarify skin.

This mud mask also contains two different clays. Kaolin, is quite a mild clay and suitable for most skin types. Kaolin clay draws out impurities and cleanses the skin. The other clay is Bentonite, which detoxifies, exfoliates & cleanses the skin, as well as drawing out toxins.

The mask has a light strawberry fragrance & is a pale pink colour. This mask is definitely a favourite of mine! I feel that it does what it claims to do & my face is left feeling smooth & fresh. I have almost finished my first tube & have already got a back up lined up!

No Time To Shine Oil Absorbing Mud Mask: No Time To Shine claims to "draw out and eliminate excess oil". The mask contains Kaolin & sea minerals to eliminate excess oils. It also contains Calendula & sea kelp to balance & tone skin. Calendula also has anti-inflammatory & antibacterial properties. The mask also contains Bentonite clay.

The mask has a light pleasant smelling fragrance & is a light green colour. The mask left my skin feeling smooth & didn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight. This mask would be great for those with oily/combination skin & those prone to frequent break outs.

Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask : Deep Down Detox claims to be "super-cleansing" & gives a "clearer, brighter complexion". The mask contains orange to recharge your skin, sea salt to cleanse & bergamot to balance.

This is another one of my favourites! It smells like oranges & is of course, an orange colour. This mask always leaves me feeling refreshed & my skin looks brighter! I would recommend this mask for all skin types as it is non drying and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight like some masks do.

Keep Your Cool Breakout Calming Mask: Keep Your Cool claims to "reduce the appearance of nasty breakouts". The mask contains peppermint to purify & refresh & coconut to relieve blemishes.

I've been meaning to blog about this mask for a while as it is different to your usual mask! You apply the mask on as usual, leave it on for the recommended time allowing the mask to absorb into the skin. Ok now here's the thing - instead of washing it off, you massage the mask into your skin, then blot any excess off with a tissue! So it basically is a mask which turns into a face moisturiser!

According to the bottle, it is perfect to wear under makeup. I tried this a few times instead of using my usual under makeup moisturiser & this works a treat! If you are going to wear this under your foundation, be sure the foundation contains SPF as this mask does not.

The mask has a subtle peppermint scent & is light green in colour. I would recommend this mask for all skin types as it is quite gentle on the skin. This mask can be used daily, unlike the other masks in this range which are recommended for use only 2-3 times a week.

Summary: Formula 10.0.6 masks are definitely worth the $8.99 price tag & there is one to suit every skin type! Although the masks are quite thick, it spreads well. A little goes a long way & I find I can get about 15 uses out of each bottle.

The only downside is on the first use, your skin feels a little tingly. Apparently this is normal & means the mask is working on your skin, so don't get put off by this! I found as my skin got used to the masks, I would no longer get this feeling.

All in all, I highly recommend these masks to anyone that is looking for a reasonably priced mask that works!

June Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 2

MAC Lipstick - Hot Tahiti: I really liked this MAC lipstick. I would describe it as a browny red colour with a glaze finish, which would suit most skin tones. The only downside, which I find with some of MAC's lipstick finishes is that it didn't have great lasting power. Will not repurchase as I have a whole stack of lippies that I need to use up!

MAC Lipstick - Ramblin' Rose: Another fave! This one is a browny rose coloured frost lipstick - perfect for  work/day use. It has a little shimmer, so it's great to wear out with a smoky eye. May repurchase in the future.

Firstglance Shimmer Lotion: Unfortunately I didn't get to use as now expired.

Revlon Luxurious Colour Eyeliner - Antiqued Gold: Nice gold eyeliner, perfect for day or night use if you want a subtle look. Unfortunately I don't think they sell this anymore (correct me if I'm wrong!), but will definitely repurchase another gold liner at some stage!

June Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 1

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Spot Gel: The packaging claimed visible results in 8 hours & I'm not sure I totally agree with this. I had to use the spot gel a few times before I noticed any changes & it dried my skin in areas that it was applied. Will not be repurchasing.

Jurlique Rose Hand Cream: This rose scented hand cream smelt divine (although M would beg to differ!). It is easily absorbed into the skin, although a little greasy, so best applied before bed! Will not repurchase though as I have a few other hand creams I need to finish.

Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner: I really disliked this product. I have sensitive eyes & this made my eyes sting badly! It also contained little bits of glitter which was gritty & would get into my eyes. Definitely will not repurchase...ever!

Loreal techni art Smooth Control Gel Cream: Unfortunately had to throw out & didn't get a chance to use as it expired!

Victoria's Secret Sexy Little Things Vixen Perfume: I absolutely love the bottle of this perfume! The scent is fruity & not too overpowering. Only downside is the lasting power. It lasts only a few hours at best so you'll need to top up during the day.

Dior Hypnotic Poison Perfume: Hypnotic Poison is one of my favourite perfumes. I'd probably describe the scent to be vanilla-ry. The lasting power is good so I'll probably repurchase in the future!

Stayed tuned for Part 2 Empties for June coming shortly & my new 10 Pan for July!

May Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 2

I finished all my remaining products for my May Project 10 Pan.

Here they are!

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover (Trial Size): I used this for removing waterproof mascara and the lip stain left after removing long-wearing lipstick. It does the job well, but I found it a little too oily for my liking. It doesn't irritate the eyes, but I feel that I can get the same outcome using my make up wipes. Will not purchase full size.

Victoria's Secret Bombshell Perfume: I really liked this perfume, it was my first Victoria's Secret perfume  that I got on an overseas trip. It has a lovely sweet fruity/floral scent. The perfume lingers for hours. Will definitely consider repurchasing.

Bvlgari Perfume: This used to be my signature scent. This classic perfume is not too overpowering & can be worn during the day or night. The scent lingers throughout the day. Will repurchase in the future.

Trilogy Rosehip Antioxidant +: Like the original Rosehip oil, this oil was absorbed quickly into my skin, leaving it soft and supple. I found that the Rosehip Antioxidant + cost a little more than the original & didn't really see it giving me any extra benefits. I think I will stick with the original!

Nail of the Day - Bling-tastic!!

Today I felt like adding a little sparkle to my nails! I used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xteme wear in Marine Scene as a base, then bling-ed it up with Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Bling-tastic.

Being my first time using a Gem Crush polish, I was really impressed with the formulation. Bling-tastic has a blue glitter base with silver hexagon sparkles thrown into the mix. The polish is quite bold & bright, but required at least 2 coats to get the perfect finish. My nails dried quite quickly, so it is the perfect polish if you are looking for something fast & easy! Definitely a winner in my book!

30 Day Squat Challenge - Completed!!

I am pleased to announce that I have completed the 30 Day Squat Challenge (see here) as of yesterday morning!!

Yes it was hard at times - but definitely worth it!! As a reward for completion of this challenge, I had a deal with M that he would get me the jumper that was on my wishlist from Wheels & Dollbaby.

Angora Knit

We collected my Skull Angora Knit (after my last set of squats!) and I can't wait to wear it! In fact, we picked up another one of these with a different print a few weeks ago as part of my upcoming birthday pressie. They are really soft and a perfect addition to my winter wardrobe!

Anyway back to the challenge! I will probably continue this challenge next month & M will create a similar challenge for me - but with sit ups! Yes it will be extremely challenging, but bring it on!

With a Rebel Yell!

I managed to collect another 6 containers to take back to MAC & finally got my hands on 'Rebel' which I had on my wishlist!

Rebel has a satin finish & can be described as a pinky purple colour. The colour looks quite intense in the bullet, but once applied its more of a deep berry colour. Rebel blotted on as a stain, leaves your lips a nice magenta colour.

This lipstick should complement most skin tones, but of course you should swatch it before you buy! I think this lipstick will be great for a night out worn with simple eye makeup.

What do you think of this lippy? Is it on your list of favourites?

May Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 1

So far this month I have managed to finish 6 out of my 10 chosen products, which is an awesome effort!

Here they are:

Clinique Turnaround Smoothing Body Cream: This body cream made my legs feel silky smooth. It is easily absorbed & doesn't leave a sticky residue. A good cream, but a bit expensive for what it is. This was only a sample, but unfortunately I will not be purchasing full size as I have already found my HG body moisturiser.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion: A good face moisturiser. Not greasy and easily absorbed into skin. Unfortunately, w ill not be purchasing full size as found HG face moisturiser.

Kiehl's Lip Balm #1: I didn't really like this product. I found it too greasy & it irritated my lips. Will not repurchase.

MAC Lipstick - Sweetie: One of my favourite MAC lippies! It is a beautiful pink colour with a little shimmer. Its lasting power is not great though. It lasts a few hours at best, if you don't eat or drink anything. May repurchase in the future when I get through my large stash of lippies!

Loreal Base Magique: I found this primer held my foundation quite well & lasted the day. It mattified my skin & created a good base for my foundation. Only downside, was the weird silicon texture of the product, oh & the tub it came in - a tad unhygienic! May repurchase in the future.

MAC Pink Treat Lip Liner:  I found this lip liner matched most of my pinky MAC lippies. Unfortunately as this product comes in a retractable pen, you don't get as much product as you do in a pencil. I found this particular liner was very drying on my lips. Will not repurchase.

April Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 2

Wow, I can't believe my last post was almost two weeks ago! Anyway.. Let's get down to it!

I finished my last 4 empties for April last week, so here they are:

Emporio Armani Diamonds Perfume: This used to be my signature scent for a few years & I got quite a few comments when wearing it. The perfume  lasted through the day, so it was perfect for a long day at work & there was no need to reapply. Be warned though, this may not smell great on everyone. One of my friends got her mother to purchase this as a gift for her & she said she loved the fragrance on me, but it didn't smell too great on her. Diamonds has a fruity/ musky scent and is not too overpowering. Would I repurchase? Probably! I've been through 2 bottles & not sick of the fragrance yet!

Dior Hypnotic Poison Satin Body Lotion: This is one body lotion that I'm sure M is glad that I had finished, as he doesn't think it smells too great! It has quite an overpowering scent, so I didn't tend to use it with the Hypnotic Poison perfume. The fragrance lasted all day, so there was no need to reapply.  It had a oriental smell about it - kind of a creamy vanilla. While I did like it, I'm not sure I'll repurchase!

Unknown brand blush: I got this in a gift set & have about 3 more pots left to work through in different shades. This was a very pigmented blush & had a long lasting power. Very similar to my MAC blush.

MAC Amplified Lipstick - Craving: I quite like the colour of this lipstick, it is probably best described as a plum pink. It has good lasting power and is quite creamy. Would not repurchase as I have a back up left!

Hope you all had a fab week!

Back2MAC - Lady Danger & Girl About Town

Some of you may be aware of MAC's 'Back2MAC' program, if not I have detailed it a bit further in a previous post back in January - 'Ruby Woo'.

Anyway today, I went into MAC to return 12 empties in exchange for 2 lipsticks - Lady Danger & Girl About Town.

Lady Danger

Lady Danger as described on the MAC website is a 'vivid bright coral-red'. Being a Matte lipstick, from my experience, it can be a little drying on the lips so I normally use a lip gloss or balm over or under the lipstick. I also find that out of all the different finishes, Matte for me, lasts the longest on the lips.

Girl About Town

Girl About Town as described by MAC is a 'Fabulous Fuschia'. It's a gorgeous hot pink colour which in my opinion would suit most skin tones. This lipstick has an Amplified finish & is very pigmented. It is very similar to the 'Lickable' shade (which I also own!). Perfect for when you are wanting to add a little burst of colour!

What is your favourite MAC lippy of all time?

April Project 10 Pan Empties - Part 1

So far this month I have managed to finish 6 out of my 10 chosen products, which is a pretty good effort! Here they are:

MorrocanOil Treatment: I really like this oil treatment & out of the 3 I currently use, this is by far the best! Although a bit pricey, my 100ml bottle lasted me ages. The oil is quite thick, so only a little of the product is needed. It has a lovely smell, which lingers throughout the day. Will definitely repurchase after I finish my remaining two (different brands) oil treatments!

Estée Lauder Pleasures Exotic Perfume: Pleasures Exotic is a light fruity/floral perfume. It is not overpowering and lasts a while on my skin. Although this is a nice perfume, I will not repurchase as I have other perfumes to finish.

The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion: Unfortunately I didn't really like this foot lotion very much. It had a nice fresh peppermint scent & absorbed into the skin easily. The formulation is not very thick like other foot creams & found it left an oily residue on my feet which i disliked. Will not be repurchasing this again.

Dior Duo Express Instant Eye Makeup Remover: I recieved this sample as part of a Dior GWP. Unfortunately I only got to try it once a while ago, but has since gone off - so needed to be disposed.

The Body Shop Born Lippy - Raspberry: I used to be a huge fan of this product, but these days it just doesn't do it for me. It smells great & is quite moisturising, but I found it didn't last long on my lips. The castor oil in it also irritated my lips. Will not repurchase.

Clinique All About Eyes: I recieved this as part of a Clinique GWP & to be honest, the product didn't do anything for me. On the upside, the small container lasted ages - giving me ample trial time. Will not repurchase.
